vernissage Milan | 2012
I walk … I sink my feet into the ground. I feel the signs and the matter. I keep my eyes on the things. I collect bark and fragments of broken trees. I find small pieces of wild flowers, samaras, stone fruits, seeds… Humbly invisible after the exciting bloom, I replant them with care and abundance. I pay attention to the details that no one sees anymore. To each natural element, fallen and rediscovered, fragile and delicate, I give a new color extracted from leaves and roots:rubia tinctorum, reseda luteola, rhus cotinus… I build geometries of small gardens in which I preserve intact the wonder of nature’s ephemeral beauty. Micro landscapes are created through a slow and discreet decay. Signs left by the earth, that always support us.
