Hanging walkways and passages can form an element that is by no means a marginal part of landscape design: this is evidenced by the increasing number of operations that characterize the contemporary project of open spaces. These are usually light solutions (in terms of both form and material) with minimalist features, but which can firmly define the landscapes they cross and create new figurative and functional identities. Walkways, piers, and elevated passages easily become the main character of the places they are connected to, offering the possibility of benefiting from new points of view.
