spring 2020. first confinement.
a memory that may now be far away.
through drawing, I confronted myself with nature, a constant horizon in my work as a landscape architect.
I live near a forest that was not disturbed by our confinement, by our enforced stay.
on the other hand, Nature took the opportunity to continue to blossom and show its beauty.
and then, during a walk through the forest, I discovered hidden details that had remained hidden from me until then.
first I take photos.Then I draw, rigorously in black and white.
finally, I use gold ink to enrich the details that have impressed the eye.
the vitality of gold feeds on the matter of light.
the black and white stroke outlines the intricate pathways of the unconscious.
the drawings describe the complex and intricate world we live in, freeing us from the useless and ephemeral to discover vital treasures.<\/p>\n
