it is the small projects that can create the most intimate environments in close contact with nature.
this is the case of this garden in an early 20th century villa in the heart of Busto Arsizio dominated by the presence of a specimen of Cedrus deodara. an almost constant presence is the Cedrus which, placed in a central position, and it has at the same time determined the botanical choices. in fact in selecting the essences to be planted, consideration was given to both the positive aspects related to shading, which hinders the growth of any weeds, and to the <\/span>conditions of a soil with an acid ph, perennially strewn with needles and where the sun does not filter.
all this aspects were combined with the client\u2019s explicit request to law maintenance garden.<\/p>\n

the garden design in a contemporary style has been organized into parterres whose texture is created by the plants.
entering on the left under the Japanese maples <\/span>a parterre of Iris japonica that remains at a slightly elevated level compared to the garden floor.<\/p>\n

a few patches of Hydrangea quercifolia and Hydrangea macrophylla contrast here and there with their foliage among the irises. the maples Acer palmatum \u2018Katsura\u2019 and Acer japonicum \u2018Vitifolium\u2019 with their decorative foliage also characterise the garden. <\/span>among the Iris.
also the maples Acer palmatum ‘Katsura’ and Acer japonicum ‘Vitifolium’ with their <\/span>mineral elements are also present, such as the new paving made of grey beola with long and narrow pieces laid in the same direction. as a whole the garden nevertheless appear sober and simple, playing exclusively on the choice of a few plants appropriately selected and arranged according to a geometric design, enriched by the balance between light and shade, between mineral and vegetable, which evokes the singular character of the small gardens in front of early 20th century villas.<\/p>\n

from above, one can appreciate the design of the very contemporary paving made of gray beola stone with long and narrow pieces laid always in the same direction.
the garden has thus acquired its own personality today in a continuum with the villa.
a microcosm capable of surprising with its renewed beauty.<\/p>\n
